Can't believe but it's true Elodie turned four last Monday. She brought chocolate cupcakes in to school and celebrated with her friends. Then at home, we had a fun, and very hot, celebration Monday night. It was the four of us plus Mom and Papa. We enjoyed the girls' favorite dinner of salmon and corn on the cob, plus ice cream cake. The evening was topped off with present opening - pink goggles, pink flip flops, pink camera...do you see a pattern...plus a pet fish*.
*Well David and I went out Sunday night to get a beta fish. We picked the most fancy, purple fish we could find. Monday night I went to place it in the prepared bowl of water and the poor thing had died. Ugh. We gave Elodie a prepared fish bowl and when she asked where the fish was, we said that she would get to go to the store and pick it out herself. Tuesday, she and my parents went to the store (Mom to the return counter and Papa to the new fish section) and picked up Emma, our newest addition.
