On Saturday we hosted Elodie's birthday party. A handful of friends joined us on a hunt for a birthday party at Browndale Park. Davy the Guide took the kids over the hill and through the woods, spotting all sorts of beasts and bugs along the way. At the end of the adventure their backpacks were filled with a compass, gummy bugs, adventure books, and pinwheels - and they found the birthday party. We had a yummy picnic of sandwiches, bunny crackers, fruit and ladybug cupcakes. We even opened presents in the park - thank you to everyone for such thoughtful gifts.
